Depressed about college. Please help.?
It's still possible to get into a decent college. You can always go to a smaller college and transfer to a more prestigious one. I'd suggest getting a book at the library about self esteem/depression because it has exercises to help rationalize your problems and make you feel better about yourself. I also suggest to focus on your goals and ways to get them. Keep looking for new solutions if one thing doesn't work. And fill your days with activities that you enjoy. Volunteer work is also good for making friends, and it gives you a boost to your feeling of self worth. Eat right and exercise too. A councilor/therapist may also be a good option for you. I know you may have heard this before, but you have your whole life ahead of you, so don't give up so easily!
